Do I need a diagnosis to access developmental education?
No, our approach centres your strengths and goals rather than a diagnostic label. While we support many individuals with specific diagnoses like Autism or ADHD, we also work with those navigating pending access or exploring support based on their functional needs.
Can I request a Functional Capacity Assessment without ongoing sessions?
Yes, we offer comprehensive FCAs as a standalone service. These assessments provide detailed reports that clearly outline your support needs, which can be shared with the NDIA or your support team to help secure appropriate funding and resources.
Do you work with self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed plans?
We can support clients who are self-managed or plan-managed. Currently, we are not a registered NDIS provider, so we are unable to work directly with NDIA-managed plans unless you request to change a portion of your funding set-up during your next plan meeting.
Can I use my plan if it doesn't mention 'developmental education'?
Absolutely. You don't need a specific line item. Our services are typically funded through broad support categories like 'Capacity Building Daily Activity' or 'Improved Relationships'.
