Capacity Building Daily Activity (Improved Daily Living)
The most common category for developmental education services, focusing on skill-building and independence.
Improved Relationships (Behaviour Support*)
Supporting social understanding, emotion regulation, and positive behaviour strategies across environments.
Finding & Keeping a Job
Developing employment-readiness skills, including workplace communication, routine management, and travel training.
Improved Living Arrangements
Assisting with the skills needed to move into or maintain independent housing and manage household tasks.
Does my NDIS need to mention developmental educators to access your services?
Absolutely not. You don't need a specific line item. Our services are typically funded through broad support categories like 'Capacity Building Daily Activity'. As long as the support matches your NDIS goals, our professional services fit within standard budget buckets.
Do I need a diagnosis to access developmental education?
No, our approach centres your strengths and goals rather than a diagnostic label. We support individuals with diagnoses like Autism or ADHD, we also work with those navigating pending access or exploring support based on their functional needs.
Can I request a Functional Capacity Assessment without ongoing sessions?
Yes, we offer comprehensive FCAs as a standalone service. These assessments provide detailed reports that clearly outline your support needs, which can be shared with the NDIA or your support team to help secure appropriate funding and resources.
Do you work with self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed plans?
We can support clients who are self-managed or plan-managed. Currently, we are not a registered NDIS provider, so we are unable to work directly with NDIA-managed plans unless you request to change a portion of your funding set-up during your next plan meeting.
Is it possible to use Core Supports funding for these services?
In many cases, yes. NDIS provides flexibility to use Core budget for Capacity Building purposes if it helps you achieve your plan's stated goals. We can help you understand how your plan flexibility might apply to accessing developmental education support.
