NDIS Adaptive Behaviour Assessment

A standardised, neuro-affirming assessment of how you manage the practical skills of everyday life — used to support NDIS access, plan reviews, and goal-setting for autistic and neurodivergent adults.

What is an Adaptive Behaviour Assessment?

Understanding how you actually function — not just what you can do on a good day. It measures the practical, everyday skills a person uses to manage their own life — communication, daily living, socialising, and getting around in the community. For autistic and neurodivergent adults, there is often a significant gap between intellectual ability and adaptive functioning. A well-conducted assessment makes those needs visible — and fundable under the NDIS.

What We Measure

  •  Communication: Receptive, Expressive, and Written abilities.

  • Practical Skills: Work, Health & Safety, and Self-direction.

  • Socialisation: Interpersonal relationships, Leisure, and Coping.

  • Daily Living Skills: Personal care, Domestic tasks, and Community navigation.

Why it matters

Bridging the gap between capacity and support. Standardised, normative evidence provided via this assessment is exactly the kind of evidence the NDIS can act on.

Note: We do not hold Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) registration. Our Adaptive Behaviour Assessment (ABA) provides clinical data that informs Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) developed by registered practitioners. A BSP is available through our referral network
