Environmental
Assessment

A neuro-affirming assessment of the places you live, work, learn, and spend time — identifying what needs to change in the environment so you can participate fully, safely, and on your own terms.

Modern Office Workspace

Where We Work: The environments we assess

Environmental assessments can be conducted in any setting where a person is experiencing barriers to participation. We work across four primary contexts:

Workplace
Ensuring the physical workspace, communication expectations, and daily structure support neurodivergent performance rather than undermining it.

Home
Identifying sensory, regulatory, and organisational supports to make daily routines more predictable and home life more sustainable.

Education
Identifying barriers in classrooms and campuses, and recommending reasonable adjustments for communication and assessment formats.

Community
Improving accessibility in social, recreational, and public spaces to ensure full participation in community life.

What You Get: Practical Recommendations

The written report produced by an environmental assessment is designed to be used — by you, your employer, your education provider, or your support network. It is written in plain language, structured clearly, and focused on what can change rather than what is wrong with the person.

Environmental assessments can stand alone or form part of a broader Functional Capacity Assessment. They provide the evidence base for reasonable adjustments — giving you a clear, actionable pathway to access and participation.
